Term Expires: January, 2019

"I'm passionate about going green. I own one of the first Tesla electric vehicles in the Dallas area. We have 136 solar panels at home, and a very large solar array on my business. My solar panels at home led to the City of Flower Mound approving a very "solar friendly" ordinance. I spearheaded the effort that created an extensive map of North Texas solar PV installations, which was ultimately presented at the 2015 American Solar Energy Society National Solar Conference held at Penn State University. I studied Business Administration and Management at Texas Tech University."

Robert Litwins

Treasurer

Robert Litwins
Term Expires: January, 2019

Robert retired from the Telecom industry in 2010. He has a long history and passion for energy/resource conservation, sustainability, and green living. As one of the first adopters (in 2009) of a solar PV system in Plano, Texas, Robert's solar array continues to serve as a model for educating local citizens. After completing solar photovoltaic design training at Solar Energy International (in Colorado), and earning a Renewable Energy Certificate in 2012, Robert started work with Plano Solar Advocates, a grassroots volunteer group of Plano citizens, whose mission is to increase awareness and expand the use of solar energy for electricity generation in Plano. Robert's community education efforts also include serving as the NTREG Committee Leader for the 2016 DFW Solar Tour.

Program Coordinators (two)
Program Coordinators
Manage meeting programs and topics, schedule guest speakers, and ensure the necessary equipment is available for the presenter(s). Program Coordinators also make sure the meeting room is set up in advance of each meeting. Two people serve as a team to support each other. If one is busy in a given month, the other can take charge. Most often, they work together to brainstorm ideas, to poll our meeting members and ask what topics would be of interest at future meetings, and so forth.
