2011 City of Arlington "Eco-Fest"

Arlington's Eco-Fest began in 2009. That year, the vendors needing electricity plugged into city circuits at the park - and tripped the circuit breaker. In 2010, the City contacted NTREG and asked if we could help. Dan provided his Solar Shuttle (solar trailer) for the vendors, and everything worked flawlessly. 100% solar power without fail. He's been powering Eco-Fest ever since.

Many of the booths needed electricity for their demonstration equipment.

"Eco Fest Power & Light". Dan's "Solar Shuttle" provided all the power needed. Not one watt of commercial or generator power was used.

Mike Renner's compact fluorescent lamps (behind black post on left) helped attract attention. Many visitors also thought we were selling lamps!

Visitors to this side of our booth had to contend with one of Arlington's infamous pot-holes. (It's since been fixed!)

Arlington's Finest needed power for their computer presentation. They also had fans in their booth. (It's still hot in late September!)

City of Arlington Mayor Robert Cluck and Dan Lepinski (NTREG Advisor). Mayor Cluck came to the NTREG booth to personally thank us for providing 100% solar electricity for Eco-Fest.
