Learn about water conservation, air and water quality, waste reduction and recycling, nature, environmental issues, alternative transportation, healthy living initiatives, and much more. Activities and games for all ages. Dan Lepinski's "Solar Shuttle" solar trailer will provide 100% solar electricity for the Earth Party sound stage. Admission is free, and open to residents of all communities.

This all-ages festival includes Earth Day workshops and booths providing information on green living, recycling, water conservation and pollution prevention. Activities include the Mutt Strut pet parade, Gentle Zoo petting zoo, music, food trucks, and an artists' pavilion with artworks for sale.

  April 14 & 15 Wind Energy Operation and Maintenance Summit USA
Westin Galleria, Dallas, Texas.
Market leading ISP's, OEM's and manufacturers will attend and provide presentations on asset performance enhancement, equipment extension, O&M strategies and more. Held in conjunction with "Don't Mess with Texas Trash-Off", Texas' signature event for the "Great American clean-up" (8am-10am), the nation's largest community improvement program.

City of Cedar Hill Earth Day
Held at the Cedar Hill Government Center, 285 Uptown Boulevard, Cedar Hill, Texas. This year's festivities will feature activities and entertainment for the whole family including a self-guided tour of sustainable exhibits, tree plantings, face painting, recyclable crafts from Keep Cedar Hill Beautiful, and musical performances by Shades of Gray, the Bray Elementary choir, and the Cedar Hill High School band. Free, and open to residents of all communities.

Tarrant County Earth Day Celebration

Location: Tarrant County Health Department Building
1101 South Main Street, Fort Worth, Texas. Free, and open to the public.

University of North Texas Earth Day
The University will offer events to educate students, faculty, staff and community members about sustainability. Earth Day is nationally recognized each year on April 22. Event activities include music, student displays, information booths, and more. Sponsored by the UNT Office of Sustainability.

2100 Southeast Parkway, Arlington, Texas. The Southeast Campus in Arlington will once again be hosting its annual Arbor Day/Earth Day Celebration. This is an annual event attended by many of the 15,000+ students, faculty, and staff. Free and open to the public.

  April 24 - 26 Earth Day Texas (Formerly Earth Day Dallas)
Fair Park, Dallas, Texas.
An annual, outdoor festival seeking to elevate environmental awareness and influence the way Texans think, live and work. This free, family-friendly event unites and shows Texans how green lifestyle choices can lower their cost of living, improve their health, and help save the environment.

10th Annual Fort Worth Prairie Fest
Ten year celebration of what is believed to be the longest-running 100% solar-powered event in Texas! Mark your calendar for April 25, 2015 from 11:00 am to 8:00 PM. Tell your friends. Bring the family. Bring your pets. There is something for everyone to enjoy! Dan Lepinski's "Solar Shuttle" solar trailer will provide 100% solar electricity for the Prairie Fest sound stage. The Solar Shuttle has always been the ONLY source of power in the entire Nature Reserve for this event!

National Trails Day.
Clear Creek Natural Heritage Center northeast of Denton, Texas will host American Hiking Society's National Trails Day on Saturday, June 6 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. The event is free and open to the public.

2015 Austin Cool House Tour.
Austin, Texas.
More than half of the homes on this tour typically boast solar electricity or solar hot water. Homeowners gain the most value from their solar energy systems when they design, build and remodel for energy efficiency first. This tour teaches you how and more.

High school students design, build, and race 100% solar-powered cars. Four days of solar car racing at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas. Cars are designed, built, and driven by high school students!
